Attention ABA....PBL has the $$$$

Found out this morning that the PBL is flying potential owners out to Chicago for an interview and presentation. Looks like the main office will be in Chicago and not in a persons basement.

will post more info as soon as I get it on the PBL OSC site.

You're missing the point, WHAFAN. The key is the "interview", meaning there is a process for determining whether or not someone is fit to become an owner.

With Joe and the ABA, if you send Joe an email and $10,000, that's enough to get you a team.

Who ever is running this league is just skimming other leagues pulling out ideas from them , no wonder teams dont want into the PBL.

I salute Maryland for staying in the ABA.

I called Maryland yesterday, now follow me closely Chichester or Joe or whatever cousin this is, and a fellow named Mark answered the phone.

I asked, what league does the Maryland team play in????

He said. "As of now its not the ABA but we are considering the PBL"
so I said, are you sure and he said. 100% we will not be in the ABA next year. I said Thanks.
