As a homer, I voted for Fort Wayne. But, just as easily, I can see any of the "Big Four" winning it along with a Quad City sleeper that just may make some noise. Muskegon's limp to the finish raises some interesting questions about their psyche. Anyway, should be a good playoff. Ironic if it ends up being last one, eh.

Info for your use submitted to us from voters-
*FW was 11-1 down the stretch against Muskegon, Kalamazoo and Rockford.
*one selection - Rockford over Kalamazoo
*I believe Rockford is going out with a bang -- and the Cup.
*Kalamazoo is my pick.
They have a very good goaltender in Ryan Nie and a solid team, led by Bootland and Karlander.
I think Muskegon has a shot, but they are taking no momentum into the playoffs after finishing 0-3-2 the last five games of the regular season. If they can gain some momentun against PH, they can give the Wings a battle in the next series.
Fort Wayne and Rockford will survive and their Western Conference series should be an absolute war.
*In Rockford's case, it's only fitting. The city waited five years to get a good coach in Steve Martinson, and now he'll be gone after three highly successful seasons. Plenty of fans were upset to hear the team is moving to the AHL because they love his team's style of play and success. So Rockford naturally will win and this team, poof! then will magically disappear.
*Fort Wayne. Komets have a top goalie and tough defense to go with the scoring.
