A group of former Owners in the ABA may be filing suit as a class action aganist Newman, Tinkham, Cioffi and the ABA. The law suit will deal with fraud and misrespresentation.'

This is seperate from a law suit that may be filed by the shareholders in the ABA.

Which is seperate from the law suit that the investment company may file.

SO that makes three...... and Joe keeps right on getting franchises and making promises.

Outside of you saying so, what are the sources for your information?

I do not doubt you but I would hope you could share the source or sources, such as soandso sent me an email saying that this is coming soon or will be happening soon. Or even the website suchandsuch.com has reported blah blah blah.

To just take your word is like crying wolf through the town. I don't doubt you but with out corroboration I can only just put your comment in the back of my thoughts and not give it a second thought.

As soft as some of my questions with Joe may be in my interviews, I have at least not cut his comments down to sound bites allowing you and everyone else to hear COMPLETE QUESTIONS and ANSWERS so that you can form an opinion on your own and not read someone else’s in an article that has space limitations. Boards such as this are way to often used to spread gossip for what ever reason.

I do believe that a lot of the things here have a base to a truth in the beginning.

To be clear... I do not work for the ABA and I have not been asked to come back to work with the ripknees. My efforts are completely independent with an interest to see smaller more affordable leagues become the norm and not $20 nosebleed tix for a live game

To play devil's advocate, if his sources spoke with him on the condition of anonymity, he won't disclose who gave him the information.

See above.

Boards like this are the only way we can get information about the ABA since Joe refuses to tell the truth about what is really going on in the league. I listened to the interview, and it was good. Honestly, I would have thrown him some harder questions, but he wouldn't have answered them anyway, so why bother?

I do believe that a lot of the things here have a base to a truth in the beginning.

Quite a few things do actually. I have spoken with team owners who read these boards and they say a very high number of the comments made on this board are true.

To be clear... I do not work for the ABA and I have not been asked to come back to work with the ripknees. My efforts are completely independent with an interest to see smaller more affordable leagues become the norm and not $20 nosebleed tix for a live game

Good job even getting Joe to speak on the record about anything. Out of curiosity, did you edit anything out, or was that verbatim?

the only edit/pause was for joe to answer a phone just before the last question. it is my policy and strong effort to never edit and i tell everyone that if they wish to not answer a question to say so. let me put my foot in my mouth not you - yours.

I don't want to know that someone might file a lawsuit.

I want to see the darn thing filed.

Until then, this is bupkis.
