Kevin Pittsnogle has signed with the Guaynabo Conquistadors for the 2007 season and will be arriving to the island tomorrow to prepare for the league opener on April 22nd against the Ponce Lions a team that i am a shared owner of. He will be playing with former NBA player Corey Benjamin and will truly be one of the best foreign players in the lsland such as Ponce's Robert "Bobby" Lazor and Chris Burgess.

he does well with his new team. I think it's probably best for him and the Xplosion, who I've seen improve since he left. But I know all X fans wish him well.

I kind of agree it is best for him, but I disagree that its best for the X. They need him.

are a better team with Jaren Jackson. I don't expect you to believe me, Juicemann, but I've seen them. I'm not happy with the way our season ended, which is why I can't wait for him to re-sign and do better things with the Xplosion. Unlike Anderson, Jackson knows what he is doing and he wants to continue with his work. I look forward to seeing that next year. We will be a better team!

You are probably right.

All I saw was that he was rookie of the year, according to the website. He is the only person I know of that is on the team. I didn't follow anyone else.

News Flash:
Jaren Jackson wants to coach college ball. It's no secret. Don't expect him to "continue with his work" in minor league hoops, unless he runs short on options.

BTW, if it's any consolation--Jackson did not want to return to Gary either (although Gary's flakiness at the time most certainly helped his decision-making). ;)

Ken, Jackson was quoted in a recent article about the Xplosion, that he wants to return here and the Xplosion want him back. I know that's not what you want to hear, pal, but I live here(in case you forgot). By the way, remind me why are you interested in the CBA when your Steelheads left for another league? I know you want to believe that Pittsburgh will not be back, but WE WILL BE!! And I will be supporting the Xplosion at every game! If I were you, I'd be concentrating on your team in Gary, although I appreciate your concern with us;)

..that's why the Xplosion put him on Inactive Reserve, to retain his rights. Once the season is over, the players are free to go to another league.

By contrast, they cut Eric Williams. He was courtside at the last Patroons' home game of the season and was introduced to the crowd, which seemed like an owner's dig at Micheal Ray for the trade he pulled while Coyne was on vacation. I am guessing Williams will be playing for the Patroons, either in the USBL or next year's CBA team.

Last year, Brian Chase played for Gary in the CBA all season, led the Steelheads in the playoffs, and then ended up playing in the D-League playoffs a couple weeks later. If Gary had returned to the CBA, they would have retained the rights to Chase.

Pittsnogle was supposed to relax and take it easy because of his injuries. How can he do that and continue to play. Or was that just a scam?

saw anything official on him. I'm curious as to where the poster found this information. As far as I know, Pittsnogle is resting at home. And yes, he really was injured(from what I saw of him).
