Although the ABA is an ill-run, mismanaged debacle, I did view the film of the game last night. While I can find absolutely nothing positive to say about the ABA rec-league, last nights game did in fact look like alot of fun for the home folks. Good for them!! If you have to be involved in a fiasco, at least you had something positive come of it. After you finish polishing your trophy, do the right thing and bail the hell out of the ABA. Run like the place is on fire.

Vermont is obviously a class act with great fans........don't have yourself associated with the nonsense any longer.

This coming from a guy who can't wait to hear of Joe's demise, the closure of a schlock rec-league, and all the saps, suckers and chumps involved. This is the first time I've ever posted anything positive on this site. Although Vermont acted professionally, this league is absolute horse sh*t........I'm sure another league would love to have ya!!

The fans absolutely love the Frost Heaves in Vermont. Congrats to the organization and to the fans that support them. I too hope they get the heck out of the ABA and end up in the D-Leauge or the PBL.

I remember reading a while back on the ECHL website that there was a planned expansion hockey team for Burlington, VT (that information has since been removed from the ECHL expansion teams page). Are there still plans in Burlington to build that proposed arena? If so, would the Frost Heaves move into the same building? It sure seems like they could really fill up a larger venue.

Well, the problem is in Burlington, crowds have consistently been 500+ fans less.
