Direct TV and the New League,HMMMMM

Tried to get a hold of Chase Carey the President of Direct TV yesterday and was refered to their public relations firm Called Edelman. After being refered to several different people and put on hold for 10 minutes, a young lady came on and said. "At this time we are not commenting on Direct TVs involvement with the Premiere Basketball League, thank you for your call".

Funny thing is, I never said PBL, I asked for someone to comment on Direct TV being involved with a new basketball league for the new minor league sports channel they want to start. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can hear Joe now, "why that Direct TV is garbage, I was going to suspend them from doing broadcasts bacuase they havent paid their technicians"

Joe will quit is Directv membership or he may have it illegally.

Hes already going nuts watching real leagues have tv contracts.

why doesn't every ABA team just migrate to the PBL....better run in terms of operations and logistics, more exposure for players, easier to get corporate sponsorship, etc. As long as enough teams do it, the regional strategy, which I think works, will remain intact. At least, the PBL should pitch the best run teams of hte ABA. Let's hope this happens.
