ANyone tried to get a press pass/ photographers ID . to be able to take pictures at an IFL event ? no listing for any media director stuff on the web pages

Each team handles their own media credentials, there isn't a league-wide hander-outer.

Contact individual team you are interested in.

I have and based on everything I know about the team so far I'm betting this will be a short franchise . lets say things arent going well despite fan support

I get a reply from them today that even though I have a buisness license and am an independant photographer I cant get a press pass because I lack "credentials" hope they burn in hell

With that attitude, I hope that none of the teams grant you a press pass. Making comments such as this certainly raise questions as to your credibility.

I have to agree and the preceding post really makes me wonder how the photographer presented himself.
