I used to watch it a lot until my work schedule changed.

Frankly, I'll watch this over boxing anyday.

Main issue-

Boxing you can watch on basic cable.

UFC and the like are all pay-per-view.

Until you have MMA Fight Night on Spike TV or something (there's an idea...), it won't gain much popularity.

UFC combines the best of boxing and pro wrestling. Having it on Pay per view hinders the audience. The only UFC fights I have seen i've rented from the local video store. It would be great if Spike TV picked it up. UFC is a sport that's right up their alley.

I like to watch the UFC but watching it takes a party to pay for it. About three times or so a year we get a group together to watch it. Would diffently watch more if not paying for even the reruns.

I tell you what: My wife's hatred of sports is legendary in these here hills, but she LOVED ultimate fighting. We saw UFC 2 I think and we got the stuffed crust pizzahut pizza (this was when they first came out with them), meat lovers of course.

God that was fun.
