hey ken, maybe this should be on the USBL thread. But since you are such a self proclaimed expert on all media related issues; do you think the hiring of Cliff (and is legal woes) for our beloved Steelheads is a bad move and will hurt fan base? Just wanted to hear your thoughts on that one.

Cliff Levingston coached for the Steelheads last season too as an assistant (that fact should tie-in your post to the CBA forum). It didn't seem to be a problem then. Honestly, I am not aware of any legal woes with Cliff Levingston.

That's enough. If you have a problem with Ken, PM or email him about it. We don't want to hear it. Stick to minor league sports on the boards.

For the record in 2003, Cliff Levingston was sentenced to four months in prison for failure to pay child support.

Now granted that is not an assult, theft or what have you. That is the only legal woes I know that he has been through.

to pay equals irresponsibility, I feel. Regardless of how he feels about it, he has a responsibility to pay his spouse for that child. The same kind of responsibility that would keep him on the team. If he does not pay for child support(regardless of the reason), how is the team supposed to know that he will show up when needed? I view that as a risk in itself.

I heard that he had sense settled that matter. Though, it is questionable.

He has since assistant coached for the Globetrotters and Steelheads, and coached for the St. Louis Flight and Kansas Cagerz.

I do understand the problem with what he may have done. (some sites say he was proven innocent, though I do not know that for sure).
