Rumor has it that there is much wailing and gnashing of teeth between the RiverCity Rage of the UIF and the Springfield Stallions of the CIFL. Some of the Rage assistant coaches were not renewed for 2007 and they have taken their skills to the Stallions. The problem is that they have taken along some of the Rage players as well.

The Rage didn't seem all that interested until the players started looking toward the Stallions. Now, the Rage seems to be shouting "foul".

It could get interesting over the next few weeks when both teams are actually practicing.

OutRageous...Rumors are a nasty business....

Don't buy one bit what you are trying to sell here... Are you a former coach perhaps??? One of the ones who was released by the Rage looking to stir up problems... The coaches did not take players with them. The players you are speaking of Tolliver, Lawrence, and Young are all on the Rage frozen rooster list. I noticed them listed on the stallion website as players. After speaking the the Rage staff, they said they found out about this on the website too. Sounds like the former coaches are trying to steal the players to me. After speaking to several people no one is crying foul, if the players want to leave it is up to them. They only way they could stop them is if they went to a UIF team and since the team they are trying out for is CIFL then i do not think the Rage could stop them. From what i heard the Rage is stacked and these players were not guaranteed staring positions so they decided to look else where to play. Nature of the game. Something smells really rotten here and it is not coming from the Rage camp. Smells like sour grapes to me...
