I was just at the game, final score was 100-95, 1st half was back and forth and Vermont had a few point lead going into the half, but the 2nd half was controlled by the 'Backs who came away with a "w"

alright, id say 400-500 there avg but word from the Vermont annoucers at the game said 500-600 but i was sittin in the first few rows on 4 sets of bleachers didnt really look behind or to the side, hard to tell but overall a decent crowd most of which were new fans that have neva see the 'Backs before and it got loud and fans were into it and liked what they saw, combine those newcommers from this game and the other couple hundred from the old venue and you got yourself a decent crowd!

Wow! That's all I can say.
Could we see the Aeros go back to #1? We'll see...

Buffalo has a dangerous roster, so I can't say I'm surprised. With guys like Duany, Castile, and Closs, Buffalo has some real weapons. If they get hot, they could make some real noise is the postseason. Is that crowd pretty typical? I see they were testing the market in Elma. It'll be interesting to see where they decide to put any postseason games.

ill ask some people i kno if they have any idea were they possibly could play in the playoffs, but i think they were happy with the 400+ new fans that had a great time at the game
and dont get your hope up with Keith Closs, lol, hes not much of an offensive guy, he plays a ton of mins, and plays "d", other than that hes jogging down the court on offense and jus trying to get off-boards, but we dont need him to score, and the sad thing is 2 good players(Todd Jones, Kenny "bad santa" Brunner-and1 streetball player) we had from out of town left, one looks like he is goin back to play in Germany(Todd Jones)

but the and1 idc if he left or not, we've been playing most of the season w/o him, but with Todd Jones in there he could play any position cept center, he was 6"6, he had some "hops", was good for 10ppg and a lockdown defender, but with Duany 100% healthy he can play longer, we wouldve had a 10times beta record if Duany didnt sit out most of the first half of the year, hes the difference maker!

Good to hear on the crowd. Is Elma's gym a pretty typical high school gym, or is it a little bigger than the norm?

Well compared to some of the other high schools in the southtowns its smaller, cos its a smaller town, like i said before, Elma is not the heart of the southtowns, they have jus about 1000 kids at their high school, while my high school bout 10mins away has over 1700 and the gym is bigger id say some of the gyms at High schools in the s-towns are a lil bigger than the norm, and if they do play in the Southtowns next year they can pick and choose from nice high school gyms that can seat 600+ comfortbaly, i think theres better, bigger, venues closer to more people and a short drive from the city of Buffalo itself than Iroquois in Elma

Even thought I am a Frost Heaves fan, the outcome doesn't suprise me. Buffalo played VT close in both the games that were played in Burlington, and the last game there was determined by, what some would call, a controversial goaltending call.

I'm hoping the R-Sharks will manage their third straight crowd above 5,000 tonight due to the hoopla surrounding Maryland. You don't see many teams managing that in minor league basketball. Regardless, these past few games have allowed the Razorsharks to make up for a few smaller crowds (by their standards) due to playing during snow storms. They did a wonderful job promoting the Presidents Day game as they had a ticket package that included tickets and a laser tag package for a discount. That obviously took off well among kids.

It was a good game, the high school was a average size. Too bad for Vermount the officiating crew was one sided. With the lead man CHI in charge. Tonight Buff plays at Park High School. Another small venue.
