Good gosh...thanks for the heads up...but I'm getting sick to my stomach watching his surgery. I guess that's why I dropped pre-med...yikes.

You really do have to feel for the guy, but he appears to be a class act. Looks like we'll see a bit of USBL and/or ABA action.

He is indeed a very class act. After Friday's game in Burlington, he talked with several reporters, and signed lots of autographs on his way out. I did get a chance to at least shake his hand after the game.

He didn't make the trip to Quebec City for Maryland's game against the Kebs because he didn't have the proper papers. One of the Heaves assistant coaches worked with him Saturday and he was very open to listening and learning. You probably read all that in Alex's SI column, though.

does anyone really believe he has any shot at the nba? he is slow and very uncoordinated. thoughts?

I wouldn't say uncoordinated. He is VERY slow...and couldn't compete very well against players over a foot shorter than him last summer in the USBL. NBA players would destroy him...

Paul, he is a nice guy and was very accomodating. I had a picture taken with him and I have never felt so small in my life.
