After attracting over 3,200 at the Butte Civic Center, for the All-Star game, over 900 turned out for the Daredevils loss to the Sun Kings.

What you don't know is there was a state wrestling tournament, and a basketball tournament going on at the same time in town. Because of the late scheduling there are conflicts with other events. The attendance represents approximately 3% of the population. What is the attendance % for your area?

..that is a fair point that some of the scheduling is a bit haphazard this season due to the franchise shuffling and so on. Albany opened at home against the UAlbany-Siena game, which is the biggest basketball game in the region every year.
Why Albany flew to Minot two successful Sundays, and didn't play the Sky Rockets in between, is one of those mysteries. The Patroons also haven't played on Saturday in four weeks. That doesn't help attendance any. They have two games every weekend the rest of the way.
Butte did get a bump from the All-Star Game. They were drawing 600 or so before the game, and got about a thousand a game for the two with Yakama. Given how those games went, I would think most of those customers would come back.
Butte is more likely to be back in its location than Indiana, which I understand doesn't draw flies. Maybe their good record and back-loaded schedule (probably to avoid high school conflicts there) will mean a late rush at the box office. Good team, but no support.
That isn't true of the Montana and North Dakota teams. Small towns, but they have loyal fans. They just need a few more of them.
