Jayme -
If you read some of the threads in on the message bored you will find some background. The team you are talking about is set to be run by a man who has just been arrested and charged with fraud that was working in a league for a another man who by all acounts should be charged with fraud himself. In addition to that, the team is question is planning to begin play next year in a league that folded (suspended operations, if you would prefer) this year. The IIHL and the NEHL were failed attempts by men who have previously failed in this type of endeavour and have left a sour taste with people. The FHL will likely add to that list and the are a couple more leagues proposed for next year wich based on these attempts will likely fair no better.

UGH!!! NOT ANOTHER BUFFALO ANIMAL IN A BUFFALO TEAM'S LOGO?!?!?!?!?
It appears that there isn't a single creative person in sports marketing in the greater Buffalo area.
Hasen't the whole buffalo thing been beaten to death by the Bills (NFL) and the Sabres (NHL) and the Bison (both AHL & IL) and the Destroyers (AFL) and original Stampede (RHI) and the City Thunder (MWBA) and the Blues (FLB) and the Royals (WTT)?
If they were going to recycle a roller hockey name, I wish it had been the Wings. Sure, its hokey, but at least they didn't use a buffalo in their logo.
