I picture the ABA Brawl as playing out similar to the penultimate scene in Trading Places after Valentine and Winthorp have beaten the Dukes (in this case, Joe and Dick Tinkham):
Tom Doyle: “I'm sorry, boys. Put their seats on the board up for sale at once. Seize all assets of the ABA, as well as all personal holdings of Joe and Dick.”
Dick T: “We're ruined!”
Joe N: “This is an outrage, I demand an investigation! You can't sell our seats. We have run this league since it was founded. We founded this league. It's ours. It belongs to us!”
(Dick falls to the ground clutching his chest)
Tom Doyle: “We'd better call your brother an ambulance.”
Joe N: “F*** him! I want the website reopened, right now. Get those affordable, family-friendly games back on. Play the games! Play the games!”
I’m not sure who gets stuck in the gorilla suit, though…
