Apparently the judgement is now public knowledge, so I have no problems entering this sports blog upon the urging of my freinds. I played for the Indiana legends in 2001. One night before playing the Kansas City Knights at the Kemper arena all the players did not get their meal money from Joe. Our coach was kind enough to use his credit card to pay for us. This happened many times. The real story is 2 fold, 1. we never got paid, which is why the law suit was filed and why we waited so long to get Judgement. Joe has nothing is his name, he owns nothing. So there may be a chance to get my money from the league now. 2. when the season "ended" I and another player were driven to Joe's house to get some money to travel back home.
While in Joe's kitchen (not the famous basement), Joe got onto his telephone and took his credit card out and made plane reservations for us to fly back home. When we got to the airport that day, there were no reservations. Joe was pretending back in his kitchen that he was on the phone. The one fan that brought us to the airport was kind enough and bought us tickets. The tickets were not cheap since she bought them the same day. Needless to say Joe never paid her back. I did. What you read on here about Joe, is so true, he killed my dreams of palying pro-ball, he left such a bad taste in all our mouths. Thank God I have a job and a great wife and kids now. With his departure only good will come from it. Thank you for reading this.

I'll bet you have a ton of stories like that, and they'd make a hell of a book.

I'm sorry you got hosed. I'm glad you came through it okay. I hope you get what you have coming to you....and that Joe does, too.

Im sure there are many such stories. This is very sad. Joe you should be ashamed of yourself, but of course you probably filed a law suit aganist the players for trespassing into your kitchen. Then you posted a thread on the internet that players broke into your home and threatened you and your wife.
Then you put out a press release that your players are insubordinate and dont deserve to be paid per their contract. Then you award three more franchises that day.

isnt that Joes way?
