People don't want to register? Sure was more posting on the old boards, but I like this much better.
Just wondering why it seems so slow?

this board may dry up soon.
I don't think it will dry up. In fact, I think you will see the return of a lot of the "old timers" due to the registration requirement and the lack of pop-ups.
Plus, there won't be as much "crap" on the board (again...not talking about you, Rocky) and we will be able to have good discussions about whatever topic comes about. There won't be any "you don't know what you are talking about because you didn't play" or "my league is better than your league".
Let the good discussions begin.

Give it some time:
#1 People are still finding the new board. Some ISPs haven't even caught up to the new IP address
#2 Its always quiet this time of year... nothing much happening in indoor football

I think Ill come post more often now that the trouble makers wont be able to hit and run on topics, then change their name the next time. Once the season gets going this board will be the one where you can post your opinion about a league/team and not get it pulled. I am glad Paul made this move, if you dont have anything to hide you would you care if your peers know who you are.
Now we just need something juice to talk about
I agree! Thanks for the switch Paul!!! I look forward to a great season & legit posts! :D

Hopefully it'll be easier to screen out the total morons who are posting from their middle school computer lab.

I really don't think the number of posts will drop much. It seems that a few new threads or replies per day is the norm this time of year.
But obviously some of us are dying to have something to talk about in regards to indoor football. At least I am, the wait is like torture!
It's got to be better than all that's going on around town with our college team lately!

One thing that will be really good for OSC is the elimination of bogus advertising threads we where getting over the past few months. You know, those threads by people saying "Make tons of money with little risk? or crap like that giving info that had nothing to do with sports or whether you could actually make money on it or not. With Moderators on every board, that should pretty much eliminate the idiots trying to do this.

After reading the replies...I guess it is true and I never really thought about it...the time of year. True actually even the old boards were dying out lately...but after it was mentioned the time of year probably does it.
In that case, I cant wait until Feb to get this thing going again...oh and to finally see some football again.

It's basketball season and the basketball boards are quieter too. People are still trying to figure out how to manipulate the new system.
Then again, maybe it just seems quieter because there are fewer crank posters.

I have to agree with EZ. I've been reading the boards since the first year of the IFL and each year I posted less because of knuckleheads like Heage's brother and other who just tried to start fights. May now we will get some intelligent conversation about indoor/arena football.
Great Job Paul!!!!!
