Well, hopefully with the Gladiators ownership change they will continue to win, AND make a few improvements on their local image. If that's the case, everyone else will be eating our dust again this season. ;)

I assume Knoxville is the Noise?

By all indications from the WBA website, the ownership of the Knoxville, Tennesse team is TBA.

But an earlier release had granted them (as well as Jackson, TN) to "Sulki Sports, LLC" (The Noise's ownership group)

Didn't that group recently fold their ABA franchise?

In the announcement of the Knoxville Noise ABA folding, they said they were going to focus their efforts on the Knoxville Noise WBA team, so that team is still around.

I hope the WBA hasn't gone overboard adding teams so far apart. Travel expenses could be a real burden for the teams in places like Texas and Indiana.

Texas is close enough to Mississippi to make it work. Plus, since they have a partnership with the Mexican League more teams in Texas is a must. But i'm with you on Evansville. Unless they are planing to add teams in Kentucky it does not make much sense IMO.

You have a point.....but I still think they should probably have Eastern and Western Divisions. Maybe something like.

East:
Rome, Marrietta, Cartersville, Murfeesboro, Knoxville.

West: Arkansas, Biloxi, Miss., North Miss, Mayas.

I guess Evansville would also have to go in the East, but that's a heck of a haul. There used to be a team in Kentucky, but I guess they went the way of the rain forrest.

well i checked the wba website and they now have 12 teams playing
2 in texas

1 in ark
1 in evansville
3 in ga.
hopefully they all will stay around

That being the case they should just add that second Texas team to the west and put Evansville in the East. That way you have 6 in each conference. In a 20 game schedule you can play everybody in your conference 4 times (2 home and 2 away) without having to make a bunch of long trips.

Harold did a great job on the court winning games with the Gladiators. He got top notch tallent to come to town, and he had much success. But it's probably for the best that he's not going to be around anymore. I wish him the best with the Hawks. I would like to offer him a small piece of career advice as part of the Hawks organization...........TANK THE SEASON! GET ODEN! ;)

I never saw who the coaches where or front office of the Gladiators/Knights who are they like sales, Media relations, community Director of Player personnel, etc. These people must get the city of Rome behind them. When will they make appearances?
