After having won only 6 games all season, Utah folded which is not really a surprise, considering what was known about the Eagles. But still, they had collected more wins than the Xplosion, who remain with just 2. I'm thankfull that we're still around, despite our fan base, and I'll continue to support them. The fact that the Xplosion have hired a new head coach gives us(me at least) reason for optimism, even though I know we are out of the playoff picture(2-21). Head coach Jaren Jackson had been a member of our last pro team, the Piranhas-of which I was also a fan attending games.
The Xplosion should have won the last game, where they were leading Yakama by 9 at the half, only to lose by 10. But I believe that Jackson will instill confidence and bring us more wins. It won't be easy during our 6 game road trip, but our wins have come on the road(unfortunately still nothing at home). So if the Xplosion visit your area, we are a better team than our record indicates. At least now we have a head coach with pro experience.

..I am going to the Patroons-Xplosion game, and bringing a friend from work.

Though people always say this about bad teams, it is true with the Xplosion. Their point differential is only 11, which is pretty low considering their 2-21 record. They've been in a lot of their games, and I expect the same tonight and Sunday.

You have your opinion, I have mine. But keep in mind, the Xplosion have only won on the road(so far). We have a different team than you've seen in the past. I'm sure you don't expect anything to change, but you can expect the Xplosion to be more competitive(I hope). They are still learning a new system but I still have hope that they will hand the Patroons a home loss, either tonight or Sunday. I've seen them get better(Xplosion). I respect your head coach, but I'd love to see the Xplosion beat the Patroons and hand him another loss. Either way, hopefully it will be exciting(as I say, we are better than our record believe it or not).

If you aren't better than your record you've got a real problem.

psbf,
Stop it! Just cut that stuff out! The Xplosion are a legitimate 2-22 team. Good teams find ways to win. The Xplosion obviously is not a good team. You've seen them get better? Really? Yes, for sure they are better than a 1-22 team by one win. This team has done practically EVERYTHING wrong since day one and it shows on the court.

for your Steelheads and I'll root for my Xplosion, Ken. What do you know about the CBA now, since your team changed leagues and we now have your ex coach? Nothing. You want the league to collapse. That's your problem not mine. I'm a diehard fan of the Xplosion and nothing you or anyone else says will change that.

..with a T submitting an errant roster, and another one when he slapped the ball away from Jamario Moon when he was trying to start a breakaway.

The Xplosion almost won, though, despite trailing most of the game and getting a terrible performance from Kevin Pittsnogle, who spent most of the game hanging out beyond the three-point arc. That isn't going to get him to the NBA.

I know. I think even Pittsnogle has to admit that he's not as ready as he thought he was. That was one of the few games where Shawn Hawkins outshined the WVU graduate to lead the Xplosion.
I read the Albany article and was in disbelief of how the game ended. That is uncharachteristic of Jackson. But I think Sunday's game will be just as exciting. We are getting closer to another win.
