Any sign of the Comets?

Anyone see any sign that the Brooklyn Comets exist at all? I live in Brooklyn and was going to see a Wonders game out of curiosity, but they folded. I saw the article in the Daily News that said they had been taken over by Elton Brand's mom, but haven't seen or heard a word about them since, not here, not elsewhere on the web, nothing.

Haven't seen anything. No idea when their first home game is supposed to be, but they are scheduled to play the Razor Sharks in Rochester tomorrow, I believe. Might want to check here to see if they actually show up. As mentioned in another thread, Rochester was told to stay home and not travel to Toledo for a game earlier this week, they too were resurrected mid-season.

Rochester added Strong Island some time ago as a replacement for Brooklyn. This was done pretty soon after the Wonders folded. So, tonight won't be an indicator of if they're going to reemerge.

Their first game is Saturday, February 3, under new management. I can't remember who it is against. If I am not mistaken I believe it is against Newark, but I will double check, I know one of the players.
