Even though I'm from Arkansas, I'm an indoor football fan, particularly of AF2. I hope the folks in central Richmond will get on board and support this move to bring the Speed back.

Since people will probably expect me to decry af2 imperialism in this case, I'm going to go on the record as saying that I have no problem with this particular move (provided the ownership is stable.) The af2 is the only stable league that has Richmond within its reasonable footprint. (Jury's out on AIFA, and I'm not sure if Richmond is close enough to the WIFL).

Maybe this will shift some momentum for a revived group here: Norfolk, Roanoke and maybe Charlotte/Carolina.

The South hasn't done well in af2 in the past, with a few notable exceptions.

AF2 back in Norfolk, Roanoke, and the Carolinas. Sounds great to me.

Let's hope there is proper financing, administration, and fan base. I'd be nice if they lasted a long time.

Somebody wised up. Richmond is a beautiful city with beautiful people and deserves this. Tell when it is offical and I purchase my season tickets ASAP!!!
