Now why would some ABA owners and one CBA ownership group (That owns 4 teams) be meeting Friday ( 22nd) in Miami? Lets speculate who wanted to meet.
I say, it doesnt matter, lets clean this ABA, CBA mess up !

Where did you hear this? Can you back up your claim?
If I had to guess I would say that since the stock deal is going thru, Newman is out the end of this month, and the Trinty Group that owns all former ABA teams wants back into the ABA...

Or, instead of wanting back in, they may be looking to break it down and start over the right way.
The RimRockers suggested this two years ago, and left when Joe took his ball and went home pouting; maybe now some of the much needed changes can be initiated.
While I would like to see the ABA improve, I'm skeptical about the news about the meeting in Miami. If this is the ownership group that represents the former ABA teams, why would we return after only one season in the CBA? I admit that the turnouts have not been the best, but I feel that switching again would risk losing more fans in the cities. Like I've said, as long as we have a team, I don't care what league they play. But I don't know how many others around here feel that way. Then again, it may help. It's a risky situation, I think. But I would like to know what source this is coming from.

Why should we speculate? You claim to have all the facts - what are they? How do you know about the meeting? What is the purpose?

Please whoever claims to know of these meeting, spill the beans...
My speculation is based on the idea that (a) the Trinity people were originally the Florida Pitbulls people based in Miami, (b) 2 of their teams Miami and Socal are sitting out and 2 Pittsburgh and Indiana are losing tons of money, (c) they caught wind that Joe Newman is out, and (d) they are realizing that not only will the travel KILL their teams but also the DUES they have to pay to the CBA each year.
So, if I had to guess, which I don't but its fun to do so, I would say they are meeting with the ABA owners who are buying up a bunch of stock and have initiated Joe's departure, about a return to the ABA.
