The Avs have signed a "long-term" deal to place their AHL farm team in Cleveland starting in 2007-08. Colorado shared an affiliation with Albany River Rats this year.

That means only remaining AHL teams are Windsor, Ontario (formerly Cincinnati) and the dormant Edmonton team.

NHL teams looking for farm teams are Florida and Edmonton.
