The UIF is my preferred non-rebound net league of choice.

I would have no problem purchasing season tickets for UIF games.

I'd like a UIF league team to be based in Dayton/Cincinnati that plays their game under the UIF/NIFL rulebook.

The UIF reputation alone tells me there's a drive to have suitable capital for each of their teams for each season.

That black/silver Warbird look was really nice. Maybe the nickname and team colors would still be legally available if a UIF team came back to the Nutter Center.

More like the af2 in 2008.

Isn't Dayton too close? (Or will that not be an issue next year when the Jungle Kats die?)

The J-Kats are not going to die. They are going to be around longer than your ill-humored statements toward Sam Adams. I think af2 is going to be the only thing that the Nutter Center lets into their arena after the NIFL debacle. Well, that is repetitive since almost everything the league does ends up that way.

My "ill-humored" statements about the worst owner in the af2 are based on the fact that the league did have to step into Everett last season, the fact that said Everett team is on GM #7(!), the fact that he appears to have grown disinterested in his toy in the Pacific Northwest, and I have to wonder if he has the ability and interest to keep two teams going.

... stepping in. What happened? I knew the Hawks are on GM #7. That's not good for stability.

Everett was having problems of a financial and administrative nature and the af2 had to send in "consultants" to help ensure that Sam Adams 1) knew what what he was doing and 2) help them make it through the year.

Adams is one of a collection of owners of the Jungle Kats.

As for being too close to Cincy, the Nutter Center is actually in Fairborn. Dayton is 49 miles from Cincy, but Fairborn is 61 miles from Cincy.

I would like you to try to figure out:

Laredo-Hidalgo
Bakersfield-Fresno-Stockton

For the record, the "Arena family no-compete halo" is 75 miles IIRC.

I know someone's gone over this with you on another board, but just to humor you (according to mapquest)

Laredo-Hidalgo=149.77 miles: good

Bakersfield-Fresno=109.66 miles: good
Bakersfield-Stockton=245.12 miles: why are you even mentioning Stockton-they're NorCal.
Fresno-Stockton=126.72 miles: good

Amarillo-Lubbock=123.74 miles: good

Arena? Indoor? In either case, does anyone really think these teams draw steady REGIONAL audiences?

I might grant stragglers in a 50-mile radius, but those stragglers aren't worth extra marketing bucks.
