The American Football Asociation released
its list of 2003 All Americans. Kenton Carr of
the Midstate Steel was listed as an honorable
mention. Kenton played college ball at Eureka
College. He also played for the Cleveland Thunderbolts of the Arena Football League
in 1994. Kenton Carr will return as quarterback
of the Midstate Steel this season. He is also
a quarterback for the Peoria Pirates of the AF2.
The Midstate Steel plays a fall schedule at War
Memorial Stadium in Peoria. The Midstate Steel
play in the Midwest Football League with other
teams from Illinois, and Missouri. The Midwest
Football League is a semi-pro football league.
