I had just heard that Minot defeated Indiana in overtime, took 5 of 7 standings points. This makes the December 19 matchup btw Albany and Minot at the Armory even more intriguing.
Hey PSBF, how do you feel about Shawn Hawkins joining up with the Xplosion, and that the team released Coleco Buie? And how are fans taking to the Xplosion's leading scorer, Janerio Spurlock?
Well, I'm kind of relieved that Minot beat Indiana, after pounding us. But then Indiana plays here tomorrow night which I see as a concern. Hopefully that game took a lot out of them. Two games in as many days is usually rough on a team(playing home then going on the road).
As far as Shawn Hawkins, I can't speak for others, but I think he was one of the few bright spots on Saturday night and I'm glad to see him on board. I think he can only help us and he has history on his side. He looked good, from what I saw.
As far as Coleco Buie being released, he was good. I think Xplosion fans will miss him. I'm sure he will catch on somewhere else. He represented us well last year, in the ABA.

Indiana had a nice live radio broadcast on the web. I too noticed the webcast was stuck, somebody messed up. It was a tight game (after the first quarter). I never expected Minot to take three on the road. Minot's got Yakima coming to town on Tuesday. Will see if the road trip wore the team down.
Both games in Montana, Great Falls and Butte, are being webcast yet have no scores. Are the games being played?

They were played. Great Falls beat Utah 113-90 in front of "an announced crowd of 1,025" according to the Great Falls Tribune (http://www.greatfallstribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061214/SPORTS/612140324/1006). Albany beat Butte 102-85 in front of a crowd of "n/a" according to The Montana Standard (http://www.mtstandard.com/articles/2006/12/14/sportsprofessional/hjjdihifjihggf.txt).
