YES!!!
Every Saturday night ESPN will carry the APFL game of the week. Then the APFL Championship game will be aired on ABC, hosted by John Madden. Kickoff will be at 5pm with pregame starting at 2pm.

Yeah, I believe the APFL will get on TV just like the NIFL will...LOL (that was a crack at those liars running the NIFL, not a LOL for you).

We all heard for months how the NIFL had this huge deal worked out where a week 1 game and Indoor Bowl would be televised. Then it went to oh and we are also working on hopefully a weekly televised game. Then it went back down to only the Indoor Bowl for this year...LOL. Just wait that date will come and go too without the NIFL on TV (well except maybe the local channel that may broadcast it).

Face it, the NIFL, AF2, APFL, IFL, etc will never get a television contract. A network really does not want to take a gamble at those small/medium sized markets. Besides us diehard fans who would even watch a game between the Billings Outlaws and Sioux Falls Storm? These leagues on TV is just a pipedream.

If I am wrong all I have to say is...NIFL prove me wrong!!!

I was excited to hear about this so called NIFL deal, but every day slips by brings me closer to the reality (which deap down was suspected all along) that the NIFL was just spewing rumors to keep the upset owners happy.

Oddly enough, the owners were sharing those "rumors", as well as the shift in focus on what they had negotiated.

I guess we'll see. No announcement so far IS disturbing.

I thought the reason the ESPN NETWORK left ARENA FOOTBALL was because it didnt like the games network
ratings. GIVEN the fact that they have so many sports
they should let another network like PAX televise
the APFL. IT would be a perfect replacement for their
soccer WUSA coverage and might draw from NBC
ARENA experience.
