From the press release:

"The Billings Outlaws and RiverCity (St. Louis, MO) Rage were accepted into the UIF in late September. Both teams moved UP to the UIF from another league." (emphasis mine)

"up"--that's cold--true, and hilarious, but cold! :D

Looking at the new UIF map, it HURTS to think of Casper still in the NIFL--they'd've fit right in with Billings and Colorado. Maybe the Flying Aces can get in next time as well.

I also appreciated the update on the Fort Wayne situation. I read through some newspaper articles from the time of the sale/no sale, and I kept wondering how one party can just "repudiate" a lease to clear the way for another entity to snatch up the arena.

I'm happy that the Rage have finally moved to a more stable and less crazy league. I'm very excited for them this year and look forward to the games.
