I was told that the Fireantz logo was not at center ice for the Ex-game. Is it not going to be there all year or does anyone have any information on this. I know it is a small thing but it is the small things that help sell tickets

I imagine center ice might be up for sale. (depending on the lease, the team may get to sell them or the arena may get to sell them or they may split the on-ice ad revenue) At least is doesn't say "This space for rent 1-800-xxx-xxxx."
We have a local hockey team that one season sold ads to a local strip joint between the blue line and red lines.

Well I guess you are right about them selling the space. I think that area of the ice should be ONLY for team logo's. I mean heck I am paying $300 for an "Ice Suite" this Friday night. I wish they would put the logo back on the ice. It would look really nice having the 5th year Fireantz logo on the ice

Totally agree with you #1. The 5th anniv logo is SHARP is I wish they would have used it on one of the jerseys, as well as on the ice.

First jersey auction is tomorrow night, Hurricanes tribute night. I think it is basically the Canes jersey with the Antz logo on it.

I remember one year when they wore the Valentines jersey! They were pink (back when pink wasn't yet "cool")!! And of course that was the night of the 'thousand fights' "Valentines Day Massacre" is what the paper called it! Good game though!
