I was wondering if there were any possible way to have an interleague allstar game ?
I was reading through some of the old post this morning , just waisting time until Tonights game , and ran across this post from " anon ".
Would this be cool ?, or what ?
I know it probably would never happen, but some of the commisioners should look into inter-League allstar games at the end of their respective seasons. It could produce more call ups. And since the " ABA " and " CBA " seasons end around the same time, there would be no problems there.
OK, OK, OK Maybe it's way to early in the morning or I have had way to much cappacino this morning and my brain is thinking up wierd S--T !
BUT TONIGHT THE PLAYOFFS START ! GO WIZARDS ! :D :D :D :D :!: :!: :!:

The league does boast some pretty good talent with Gino Carlisle, Cleotis Brown, DeMarr Johnson, and Rodman. Talent is not the problem in this league it is the administration of the league that is the problem. You could legitimately take the top players (PG/SG/SF/PF/C) in the ABA and pit them against the same represented class of the CBA and NBDL and have a very competitive game. In addition, the league has had one NBA call-up and will possibly have about two more. If such is the case for YMCA Leagues then maybe we do need to discard the minor league system and just go with a YMCA based system.

Hmmmm. First, I would think that the basketball leagues would have to come up with a rating system like minor league baseball and hockey--AAA, AA, and A. The CBA and NBDL would obviously be AAA. The ABA would be AA because they utilize both AAA and A quality players, thus generating the middle ground of AA. Leagues like the EBA would probably be A because I read where Willie Chandler is prospering in the EBA now. Willie was the Gary Steelheads' first round draft pick in 2003, but was cut the first week of training camp and not picked-up by another CBA team. That is my logic behind giving the EBA an A rating...other than that, I don't have an idea as to their quality of play.
Second, I don't think there would be much interest in an inter-league all*star game beyond basketball purists. There isn't a lot of information out there on minor leagues for Joe and Joan basketball fans. You can see and hear about players in the league you follow, but beyond that...

point taken !
Sorry about the Steel heads game. It was closer than the final score dictates.
Wizards were almost ripped offf tonight to. But the players actually got to determine the outcome and not the refs.
I wish all teams had the Fiber Pipe website running their games.
