I really liked the RHI back in the 90's and I miss the 4-on-4 roller hockey game it played and illegal fighting. anybody else here think its possible the RHI could return?

If the league did ever return, the only thing I would like too have seen is too put an offsides call at the center line (was way too easy too pass the roller puck down the rink too score) and have a Salary cap (if the league made enough money too warrent one). Could be something like a Million dollars or something. Having a solid 8 to 10 team league in Major cities could work in the southern states (the south seemed too support it more then the north).

Yeah, they should make a new RHI and have the teams be owned by NHL owners or something like that just like the way it goes with the NLL teams.

I loved that league. I used to be able to see the St. Louis Vipers (owned by Bernie Ferderko) play for like 4 bucks. I also saw Shannon Rheneaux (sorry if I misspelled that) play when she was with the San Diego Bullfrogs.

St. Louis was lucky to have an RHI team because I wish Kansas City had one.

..Ahh yes..the RHI Champion Buffalo Stampede!! Th e wife and I had season tickets for 2 years, then they became the Empire State Cobras
I remember trying out for the team in 94'. We recieved a tear-away jersey for our $150, and from the 37 of us who tried out..not one was picked. We learned later that they had already sighned ECHL players to the roster, and just used our money to pad the team, hell, thats $5550.
I also remember going to the Buffalo State Arena to see the..ug..Buffalo Wings play ...I would love to see roller hockey back here, maybe I can still get my $ back??
