I'm hearing that WINDSOR will be having an AHL franchise? if that's true, congratulations for sure! y'all will be getting interest from all the RED WINGS fans, since Grand Rapids is farther - and vastly different in many ways - from Detroit; and Toledo, well, that's OHIO!...

Yes, they will.

They are the relocated Cincinnati RailRaiders (will resume play in 2008-09)

Just so you know the franchise is not in Windsor, it is in Tecumseh, outside of Windsor. Has nothing with us.

We have the Windsor Spitfires, don't another team.

Sadly for the Spitfires fans, the team is going to most likely be "Windsor So-and-sos", especially considering how Tecumseh is a suburb/neighborhood of Windsor.
