Does anyone have any experience with Teamline for listening to games?
Many minor league clubs allow you to listen to their coverage free via the radio station's streaming audio. But others don't, and refer you to Teamline.
There doesn't seem to be a way to sample the quality without paying first, and $400 for a "season pass" is rather pricey.
I've tried Sportsjuice, but it doesn't carry that many teams, and the audio
usually sounds like it's being run through an aluminum bat.
Any help would be much appreciated. Enjoy the season!

Teams that utilize Teamline do so for one of two reasons. First, they may partner with Teamline if their radio station does not make their broadcasts available over the web. Second, they may do it simply to make money. Clubs get a share of any revenues Teamline receives from their broadcasts. And as you have seen, it can be a little expensive. The team's share of Teamline revenue is slim, and it's not like many people take advantage of the service for minor league baseball, but it's still a couple of bucks.

Even though the team you are following does not offer internet broadcasts, the majority of other teams do. Therefore, I would recommend that you check to see if the opponent has a webcast available. It might be a little bit of a pain to get webcasts from other teams throughout the season, and you obviously will be getting the other club's perspective. But at least it's free!
