Are there any rule differences from the NIFL to the UIF?
I did see the rule link on UIF's site.
The NIFL has a box for one linebacker. he has to be 5 yards from line at snap, and must stay in box between outside shoulders of the O lineman and I believe at most 10 yards from line of scrimmage, until 1/4 back moves from his pocket, or ball leaves his hand. If he blitzes, he must come between the O linemen, unless the 1/4back moves to the side.
The D cannot line up on the nose of the center on a field goal try. On kickoffs, and ball goes out of bounds before the goal line after striking the field, the ball is placed were it went out, IF the ball does not hit the field or a player, it comes out to the 25 yard line. If the ball hits field and goes out of end zone, it is put in play at the 5 yard line. If it does not hit field, and out end zone, it comes to the 25.
I like getting on the reffs during a game, but it does not work if rules are not understood.
Can coachses be on the feild?
