well, the more i see teams dropping like proverbial flies over at the MISL, the happier i am that THIS league here exists. and the more i wish the league success!

I would think an indoor soccer team would do quite well in NW Arkansas. Soccer is a big deal in Arkansas and there is a place to play indoor soccer.
I think that the AISL should check out Arkansas for expansion.

Looks like this may very happen. I think that NW Arkansas will be a hot bed for indoor soccer.
We will have to wait and see but it looks like a go.

The AISL is lucky to have four teams (Rockford, Massachusetts, Cincinnati, New York) for 2006-07.

Just this week the AISL pulled the Memphis Mojo expansion franchise that never got its finances in order. The league had previously announced the expansion New York Empire as a partial-schedule team for 2006-07. Now that team is called the New York Hampton Surf and will play a full schedule (16 games) with the folding of Memphis.

Earlier in the year the league had also announced the Canton (OH) Crusaders, but had to pull that franchise due to problems with the owner.
