View Full Version : APFL info. just found today
On the Minutemen site...They have one for the outdoor team too..I found this info.
Iowa Blackhawks
Colorado Stars
Texas Thunder
KS.(Mo.) Minutemen
KS. Koyotes
Team to be determined soon (One more for a total of 6 for 2004)
It's coming together here quick !!!
Well I took a look (again) at the Minutemen site...
The 2004 "schedule" still looks like a rag tag jumble...
And maybe the most tell-tale thing I did see...
Was a message scrolling across the screen at the top..
Announcing team workouts at Gold's Gym on Tuesdays and Thursday's..
And that attendance was "encouraged"...
Aaargghhh.. :?

I spoke with someone at the team office and was told that officially teams can't begin practice until 4 weeks prior to the start of the season. The season starts on April 10, so I would expect that official practices would begin four weeks prior to that.

About a month to go, and STILL no word. Man the Koyotes really are not marketing themselves well. Things need to change or this team will be gonzo..............

Are the Wisconsin Locomotives the La Crosse Night Train but just in the APFL instead of the NIFL?

Now that would be interesting. C.S. basically forced the owner out of the league, its possible he just setup shop in the APFL. But even if its true, we won't know since the APFL doesn't have an official website.

I had been told a team was jumping leagues, LaCrosse is it. Well i certainly hope things are run better this season. Good Luck to all in APFL. 8)
OK... Thats good... Finally......
And I also see another post with the optimistic thought that the APFL might be competing with the NIFL in 2005...
Let's hope so... Not to the detriment of the NIFL... Just for the expansion of indoor football...
Now just the age old questions with the APFL..
When can we see an official website..
Pro?
And is the league going to be the Kansas Koyotes and 5 pretenders?
Good Luck to the APFL and all my brother and sister Kansans in Topeka..
And May God Bless You All
If the Wisconsin Locomotives are indeed the LAX Night Train then hopefully they will have the same players from last year and make sure that there are at least 2 real teams in the league for 2004.
