If you look at the NIFL website, you would be led to believe that they will be back but, I doubt that is going to happen. I would really be surprised if they come back next season but I hope for your sake that they do.

No one outside team ownership probably knows the entire story on the Gators as they didn't really like to communicate too much. Tony-o is right in that some replacement players joined the team late after the Gators had been kicked out of their home arena. They also had to wear Lake Charles LandSharks uniforms when their equipment was taken, again due to non-payment issues.

Didn't pay the Civic Center bills. The equipment may have been in there when they locked the doors to the Gators. Or the equipment wasn't paid for either.

The Twin City Gators played seven games before disappearing. Despite being a thrown together team, the Gators were somewhat competitive in a few of their games. After seven losses, the team cancelled its home game against Greensboro. Ironically, it was supposed to be Fan Appreciation Night. After this cancellation, it was learned that the coaches had left town and the front office was vacant. Not only did this team cease operations, it almost completely disappeared.
