well, you could get a lot of opinions on this depending on which league that person likes. sticking to the basic facts - the wpfl plays in the fall, is coast to coast, the smallest of the 3 leagues, is a profit organization. iwfl plays in the spring, is coast to coast, 2nd largest, is a non-profit org. nwfa (the league i am with) plays in the spring, so far goes as far as texas, the largest league, is a profit organization, is setup as a bus league(regular season games are close enough to drive to) for most teams(a few exceptions). there are 2 others that are not close to these leagues level (to put it nicely). i consider them a waste of time - wfl and rwfl. everyone has opinions on which one is best. i prefer the nwfa myself. i am with the dc divas and we have been in this league since the start.
to avoid any additional opinion from me, i will leave it at that.
are The 3 "Major" Leagues (WPFL,NWFA, IWFL) truely proffesional leagues or would they be considered more like semi-pro leagues? What kind of money do they make in each league? Is there a league minimum salary?
