If the af2 survives this season, I would like to see expansion in the following cities - Cincinnati, OH, Dayton, OH, Boise, ID

AFL expansion - Washington, DC (2005), Nashville, TN (2005), San Francisco, CA (2005)

NIFL expansion - Fort Worth, TX (2005)

Just an educated guess on af2 and NIFL

All I want is a team in Tucson that isn't the rumored 2005 APFL franchise. af2, NIFL, I don't care. Expansion in the SW would have to build down to Tucson, though. No regional competition.

Ifthe APFL takes a giant leap forward in 2004 over their 2003 "Topeka and some other teams" season, I'd support an APFL team down here.

Boy that would be tough! I think part of the reason why it is very slow in getting franchises setup in the southwest is a similar reason why its not happening in the Northwest... the Rocky Mountains. Travel is a killer in the NIFL with the Pacific West conference, especially for Billings, Utah, and Wyoming. Those three teams literly have too rely on one another too be around because they have not local rivals in busing distance. Southwest is in a similar situation in my opinion. If a league does get in the region, they need too at least get one franchise in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona too make it work right. As it is right now, both the AF2 and NIFL are having growing pains getting into that region. To be honest Rocky, I think you might have better odds seeing an IFL franchise in their later then an APFL franchise. With Elpaso in the IFL, it opens up this area very well for the IFL, but again it would still have too expand in a similar fashion as the others because distances are still long in this area and now the IFL would be dealing with Moutains.
