Billings has removed all NIFL references from their site.
Tri-Cities has reduced theirs to a single image the size of my pinky-finger print.
RiverCity, Rapid City, and Wyoming still have the usual stuff up.
We will find out September 4...

Seems we finally have a timetable for the western pullout. The NIFL may be down to half a dozen teams within 14-18 days. That is if Fayetteville doesn't announce a move before then.

That, and I checked out the websites for each team.

They're NOT with the NIFL anymore, but they will announce who they're with on September 4.
And in case you're wondering, the Augusta paper pretty much gave away the fact that Fayetteville's going to the WIFL.

Yep, all indications are it's getting pretty close. After the five teams join UIF and Fayetteville departs, that will leave the NIFL with five teams in the very near future, down from 22 to begin the season. Can you imagine if the rumors in Cincinnati, Katy and Beaumont turn out to be true? Even if all plan on coming back, you have to wonder if it makes any sense for Cincy to still be there since they'll be geographically isolated. We know Greensboro will be back in the NIFL, and Arkansas appears to be back as well. They could be the only ones, and how solid are they?

Honestly I would like to see Cincy and The Rage in the same league. They have the beginings of a rivalry building. Joining the UIF would solve the isolation problem for Cincy. OV to the east, all the Indiana teams, Illinois teams, LEX, and R.C. not far to the west. You talk about a plus for the Greyhounds if Cincy joins.
Here's another funny part of this for the NIFL. What if Arkansas, and Greensboro are the only teams to return? Their combined record is 11-17. The flagship team would be the 6-8 Stars. It would only get better after hearing CS's spin on this next year. If she even bothers that is.

I've heard that Arkansas might be on the way out.

Where did you hear that? Their owner supposedly has six other NIFL franchises besides the Stars.

Heard it on IFF. That's all I've heard though.

Just as you guys are afraid to lose your teams, we're excited to ge them! 5 solid franchises joining at once would mean we get a more diverse schedule, and give the fans what they want... excellent footbal!

No one is really losing there teams here. I think most of us are anti-NIFL. Or at least anti-Shiver.

I meant it as people supporting the NIFL are losing the franchises, CS is losing them. Whichever way it swings, I'm glad you guys are gettting out of there.
