I still think a outdoor spring pro league would work. Now that eightman football has been exposed to the world on a national basis it would be great to see it played outdoors in the spring.
Great time slot for this game. It would be played on an 80 yard field just like it is supposed to be played. Players and coaches that have been burned by the indoor game should welcome back the outdoor game.
Players salaries would be $200 a player and $50 a win. Roster size would be a lot smaller as well as the coaching staff.
I know in my area alone you could put a team in Little Rock, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Springfield, Joplin, Wichita, Topeka, Tulsa, Muskogee, etc....
Indoor football is wearing it's self out in the smaller leagues, isn't about time to take the game back outdoors.

NO! This is at least the tenth time you've brought this up.

If you wanted an outdoor league you would have to go with 9 man bowl. Like smller high schools use.

#1 Are existing facilities going to allow field re-marking, or are you going to try to develop new facilities? Good luck with that one.

#2 Some states have 9-man, some have 8-man, Texas has 6-man. The Northwest all seems to play 8 in HS, but there seems to be a reasonably "break-even" 9-man adult league based in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. If they can play on 100-yard fields, and the high schoolers can play it, why can't a pro league?
