Looks like the guy that owns the Arkansas Stars is looking for venue in Springfield, Mo. to put an expansion team.
What a joke!
Why would anybody want to support an NIFL team. He claims he paid $250,000 for the franchise but wait there's more he also owns several ABA franchises.

The owners want to run a class organization and they were not getting that with the NAFL and their semi-pro team.

So his answer for the problem is another team in the NIFL?!?!?

As far as the type of building they want to play in Warren said:

"We'd prefer a building like a warehouse"

. . . yeh, that's classy. :)

Anybody who joins the NIFL for 2007 is nuts. I mean, wow. Who would want to invest in the NIFL? Come on.

Here's my two cents:

1. If a building is suitable for hockey, it's suitable for indoor football.
2. Get that new arena, and then go UIF!

I agree with you. Forget the NIFL it's a joke. Go with another league.
Looks to me, like this guy invested in the wrong league to start with.

Wasn't there something about this guy having rights to something like 8 NIFL franchises?

Heck, he could start a couple of divisions if he could find a place to play.

fwp, I think it was Arkansas and six other NIFL franchises. But how could he be granted franchises if he doesn't have venues? Plus, he owns two ABA teams, in Little Rock and Fayetteville.
