I have collected a number of footballs from the indoor leagues, but I still have a few questions. Maybe a few more than a few...

Did the PIFL (1998) have a league logo on their footballs?

Was there only one IPFL ball (White with the Gold logo)?

How about the IFL (1999 - 2000)
I made it to one game in 2000 and as I remember the logo on the ball was blue. Since then I have acquired an IFL ball that has a black logo (the person selling did not know if it was a replica or an actual game ball)

The NIFL had 2 differenet logos. Correct? The original blue and red triangle with the helmet and the red NIFL with blue football markings.

The AIFL had to different coloured football, one with two blue panels and the one they use now with two white panels. The logo was the same on both. (I think)

GLIFL has just one.

Did the Intense League have the logo on their footballs for the 2004 season? I see they have it for 2006.

I don't have a clue if the APFL has anything on theirs.

Just regular footballs as far as I could tell.

The PIFL, so far as I know, didn't have their own ball. The IPFL did, in fact, use just the white ball for their 3 years. The IFL was always a black logo, I think. The APFL has a deal with Dick's and Nike for footballs, but no league logo on them.

maybe this will help you......I looked through my 1998 PIFL Green Bay Bomber trading card set and found more than one photo of the PIFL ball. The balls in the photos were produced by Baden and DID have the PIFL logo. The ball was a standard brown with black lettering and logo.

bobg754 is correct about the '98 PIFL football. Though, I have never seen one for sale on eBay since 1998 as that is one football I've been searching for years. I should have bought it at the Louisiana Bayou Beast kisok when I had the chance, but kept putting it off.

Also, the IPFL white Rawlings football did in fact change every year (1999-2001). The IPFL logo was different colors each season. I had the pics posted on the wikipedia IPFL page, but someone removed them from there. Here's how they went:

1999 gold IPFL logo with black yard lines and the football logo was the white of the ball

2000 gold IPFL logo with white yard lines and white football logo

2001 gold IPFL logo with black yard lines and black football logo

I have seen all 3 versions on eBay from time to time.
There's one up on eBay now for $16....

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info people. Keep it coming.

Arenafoot - I purchased a ball from the person selling that one on ebay now. In the notes we exchanged he mention he was involved with the scouting for the IPFL. There was a 2001 on Ebay just a week or so ago as well.

I was in Sioux Falls for United Bowl 2 and bought one of the balls they had especially for that game....they may still have some left if anyone is interested. It was $75 though.

That is the PIFL ball in the front of the picture, in his left hand. Too Cool !

The Intense Football League used logo balls for both the 2004 & the 2006 seasons. Like the NIFL, the balls had the home team logo on one side and the IFL logo on the other.

I finally saw a picture of the 2006 ball where you could see the IFL logo.
I have never seen a picture from 2004 with a good shot of the ball to know if there was a logo or what it looked like.

I have game balls from all 6 of the inaugural teams. As I said in my previous post, the IFL logo is on one side and the team logo is on the other.
