Has anyone read the story on the Florida Seals Website? It is at www.floridaseals.com I think it is a great thing for the seals and the sphl. If the film crew follows the team on the road and they can show all the great arenas around the league.

I think that's an interesting idea. Especially with so much of tv reality-based. Hey, on their site, it shows under staff just the coach. Anyone tell me what happened to Garry Unger?

Well Unger is involved with another team either in michigan or wisconsin. I can't remember. They dont know if he will be back this year. If they took his name down then he wont be back. The rest of the staff they anounced that they will be persuing other opprotunity. I think it all has to do with the new owner taking over the team. It is all just a wait and see for right now.

Not to stereotype (b/c I do believe about 10% of these guys are actually 'good guys' who really DO love to play hockey)
- But, all joking aside, for the other 90% - I really HOPE this "Reality Show" will be able to convey the truth about most of these drug addicted, adulterous, highschool/college drop-outs who use their 'small town fame' to attract gullible 20-something year olds in hopes of either gaining dual citizenship in the U.S - or a "Sugar Mama" to help suplement their lack of income............glad I FINALLY woke up to smell that cup of coffee before it was 2 late!!!.......Thankfully, I'm not jaded anymore, just feel like it's my place to warn any "fresh meat"..........................
(Wow!!! ok, that felt good :))
I REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE TRUTH ON TV!!!!...yeah right, I'm sure they'll find some way to "spin" it into a story about "Minor League Athletes w/ a Dream".....ha ha ha!!!:p
But for the 10% or so 'good fellas' who just wanna have fun and play hockey without hurting innocent gals.......................BEST WISHES!!!! ;)

I was at the seals booster club meeting, and we meet the new owner. He told us either seven or nine players are returning. He said that there are at least 18 players signed and they are bringing 26 guys to camp. They 18 I think are just try out contracts, but he didn't say who they all are.

Boy I'm feeling a lot of love here. Sounds like someone lost a girlfriend to one of the hockey players. BTW, I've met quite a few minor league players with college degrees and even a few with some graduate school hours under their belts.

Come on, you are so sinical. It is more than 10% good guys, these guys really love to play hockey (70%). The ones that don't are the problem.
