View Full Version : Break up the Road Warriors!

We're 12 games into the second half and the Road Warriors are only one game off the pace and playing .500 ball. It's not out of the realm of possibility that the Road Warriors could take the second half crown. Does anyone know where to get Warriors Playoff tickets?:) :) :) :)

Also, they just traded for a reliever from the Winnipeg Goldeyes of the Northern League. Have to give props to the Warriors for staying competitive.

Yeesh. I hate the Road Warriors. We haven't won a series from them yet...

I have an idea for how you can beat them.

Well you all know I'd be thrilled if they took the second half crown! I'm rootin' for them all the way! (Sorry, Moofis!!) :D
As for tickets... I even asked Sandy and he has no clue. I honestly don't know how they'd do that if they made it.
I'm betting the AL wasn't even planning on having the Warriors make the playoffs..........

The Fish could really use a couple of the RW players...

Who do you have in mind?

Well... I don't know if the Road Warriors have any relief pitchers because the Bluefish bullpen has been a little shaky throughout the year... and even though the Bluefish have 3 catchers, Aracena would be a HUGE upgrade over Jamie Pogue ;)

Relief pitching?? ehh.. can't really say much about that! Most of the guys' walk-to-strikeout ratio isn't so great. Also, their ERA"s aren't superb either. Pizzaro might be ok - after all, he did make the All-Star game, so he must have something great down inside! Atleast he has more strikeouts then walks.......

Doesn't really matter... the entire league doesn't really have very good relief pitching... the Bluefish pen isn't that bad either.
