New league, hard to scout,no one believes the talent here. Rate this league,AA, AAA, or A ball.

I'ts hard to rate independent minor leagues because not erveryone is on same level. Very excitng baseball, with everything from major league performance to 'A' ball from one game to the next. I've enjoyed following this league and other minor leagues through the years and though the U L B may have some growing pains it has become better . this league has better attendance than some affiliate minors. you have a baseball goldmine here.

i would rate this league somewhere between mid class A and AA... whoever said AAA or better is insane.. those teams would murder the UBL teams

dont get me wrong.. there is talent in this league but not enough developed talent to be able to compete AA affiliates...

My rating is AA+. If the players have settled down to their teams, the games are worth going to see. Great talent, both pitching and hitting. The fielding is improving,so my rating still stands.

I have been lucky enough to follow Aces baseball since the start of the Texas-Louisiana league and then the Central League and now the ULB. It was said that the TLL was equal to AA and improved thru the Central League days to high AA. Right now the ULB is between A and AA. It is a hitters league, the fielding is closer to AA while the pitching is A. In a couple of years this will be a strong AA league, and will never be any better than that. Too many of the top players will move on to affiliated teams to ever rise above AA and that is the way it is supposed to work.

I think you hit the nail on the head with your league analysis, this pretty much holds true with all independent baseball. Any team that has good pitching will eventually sell it to Major league teams/affiliates. The league though has the promise of staying around for awhile and really is good for the fans and communities. I wonder if they have expansion plans for next season? Anybody hear anything regarding expanison?

This is a batter's league at this time. The fielding is A ball while what I have seen is AA pitching. Pitchers must be able to depend on fielding at times, haven't seen strong infield or outfield.
