fireantz coaching situation

does anyone know the status of fayettevilles search for a coach for the 2006-2007 season? i would imagine that vacancy is having a bad result on recruiting players for the season. i am overseas and any info would be a great help.

Sounds like the wait was well worth it too. Sounds if the new coach is going to be good for the Fireantz. I can't wait for the season to get started even thought I will miss it being overseas right now

i am really excited about the new coach. he should be pretty well esablish with recruiting and that will be important since he is getting a late start on recruiting for fayetteville. he sounds like a winner and like someone who might be around for a while and give the team some coaching stability.

From what I understand, although Collins is the only player that has been publicly announced, we actually have a pretty good group of returning players. Some of them have only signed in the last couple of weeks with knowledge of the new coach. It is still possible that many of them might not make it through training camp, and some may not want to play for Marks, but I think we are in pretty good shape. There are still some holes that will have to be filled in, but Marks has what it takes to fill those spots with the right players.

I, too, am ready for the season to start.
