NIFL Places Hold @ Crown For Aug.5

Carolyn Shiver asked the GM at the Crown to hold a date for the Indoor Bowl on August 5th. Although no offical word has been released from the NIFL, one has to believe the game is going to be moved to Fayetteville. One small problem though. Billings will not make the trip.

Ugh... what a mess. If this turns out to be true, the excitement of winning a championship is pretty much gone. I hate to say that, but if things are going to be like this, it just isn't right. I mean, I'm glad to see one more game at the Crown, but if it's under these circumstances, it really sucks the excitement out of it.

APFL might not have a championship game either....Can't we just play the freakin' games?!

More info indicates that the league my still allow the game at Billings, but may force a push back to the following weekend. Billings fans, don't give up hope. We rejected yet another offer to go to Fayetteville...

I have just want to know one way or the other. We have not made any travel plans due to this mess. Tickets will go thru the roof by Thursday and the wife and I had planned on making the trip. We almost said the heck with it last weekend after the win over the Rage and start driving toward MT. I talked myself out of it and now I am gald. Either way, win or lose, let's just play the game, I am tired of not knowing, and all the hipe on here about who said what and the like.

Can someone explain to me why the league is trying to move the game? I'm new to all this, Not quite new enough to be surprised, but it's sad when it only takes a month of loosely following the NIFL to not be surprised by stuff like this.
