Plauoff Predictions

Ok everyone I know its early in the second half but id like to see your two playoff teams from each division and maybe a suprise team that might sneak in.

East - Chillicothe & Traverse City / Suprise - Washington
West - Rockford & Evansville / Suprise - Windy City

I know thats how the standings are right now but I feel that the east is pretty secure out west though I really think Windy City might sneak in.

Whats everyone else thinking out there?????

I'd like to see the Grizzlies sneak into that last spot...but I'm just not seeing it.

Your predictions look good to me, other than I would not consider it a surprise if Windy City was the second playoff team from the west. I see them battling Evansville and Gateway down to the wire.

Well now that it is August 15 and the trade deadline has pasted, the Wild Things are just a game out of first in the East. They took 3 of 4 from the Paints over the weekend and they have 3 games in hand with each of Chillicothe and Traverse City. They are making a heck of a run and I just don't see any team in the FL stopping them at this point. They solidified their rotation with the pick up of Aaron Ledbetter from River City and they are still the best hitting team in the Frontier'. Any detractors?

Bill I would agree with you. I dont see anyone being able to handle Washington now. That team is stacked. Im up here in Traverse City and Im just hoping we can catch and stay ahead of Chillicothe becasue Washington is goingto pass both of us. I still believe in my Beach Bums but the offense hasent been clicking lately. Ive noticed that Washington has had a great team every year. They must have great scouting considering the turn around in this league. Im just hoping we can achieve that up here in TC. I say Washinton wins with my beach bums edging out Chillicothe. Or at least i hope so.
