Hello. I am new to this forum. I have seen teams from both the CBA and NBADL play (having moved from Asheville, NC to Albany, NY a year ago). I have also looked back at several of the posts in this forum. I am just curious to why most people here think the CBA is a better league in terms of talent? Am I missing something? I really hope the Patroons are better this year. Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

..having not seen a D-League game, I don't know, but one ofthe comments regularly heard in the forum is that D-league players tend to be one-on-one performers more than team players. You can't get to the NBA without shooting the rock.
Even with all the hype on the D-League, the CBA still outdrew it last year, and the basic D-League solution was "if you can't beat them, join them."

The owner of the Anderson Alley Cats Rob Blackwell was quoted stating, "We don't anticipate a lot of change", "We thought we had a lot of very talented players last season." If the other expansion teams feel the same way as Blackwell, then the Sun Kings could possibly go 46-2 next year. The Sun Kings were the only CBA scouting any of the summer leagues so the rest of the teams really don't even know who to pick in the up coming draft. I read that Minot may hire a real coach so they may end up being the 2nd or 3rd best team in the league by default.
The CBA had much more talent than the D-Leauge last year, however this year the D-League should have the advantage if the other ABA owners all think like Mr. Blackwell. The CBA may field 6 teams that are complete garbage.
